I know some of you are into classic cars like I am, KT, I think you are.
Anyhow, it's the 1st night of the Barrett-Jackson classic car auction from Scottsdale, Arizona.
I guess I'll be glued to the t.v. for the rest of the week.
I love the old cars, & have been to that auction once, about 12 years ago.
One of my favourites.

Hello Everyone!
Had a day of walking, walking and walking to get various places today. I must say I did well as I was pretty darn tired from waking up too early............
I remember the Strwabs Jester, good band and Cream were one of my fave's back in the day!
picked up 2 for 1 falafels from Ali Baba's on the way home which is very close to me, too tired to try cooking!!! I'll just make something to go with them now...................
wish you could be rid of that damn sarcoma for good Loocie -keep trying those treatments...............

I heard a Blue Rodeo song this morning and I thought that they actually do mix it up for them. I'm pretty sure they play "Try", "Lost Together", "Diamond Mine", "Hasn't hit me yet" and "5 days in May" on a regular basis - which I thought was pretty good seeing that is at least a 5 song rotation!!

I didn't hear Radio Ga Ga, Tin Soldier or Last Kiss today.... hmmmm.... did I miss them??

Hope everyone is well.

Back from the wilds of suburbia, where the brats & I were spoiled rotten by my Mom. The funeral was a bit tough, but it was good to be with bff's family (so nice to see all the nieces and nephews have grown up to be wonderful people
). bff is coping as well as can be expected - everyone is still a bit numb. Her Mom is staying with her for a bit, until things settle down into a new normal routine. She was joking that her Mom will have had enough of cleaning up after her within a week and go back home.
Brats are sulking a bit - between being spoiled by my Mom, & later with my other bff (who chauffeurs us around town), they are not impressed with my lack of treat-dispenser skills.
Doesn't help that I spent most of today doing chores instead of playing tug and baking doggy cookies. Sigh, so not my priorities, but the dust bunnies were taking over.
Will catch up in the next few days, better go check on the sleepyheads (not sure why they're in their beds, their curfew isn't until midnight).
Night all.
