Harper to Step Down as MP Later This Year

Stephen Harper is slowly closing his Ottawa office as he prepares to step down after serving for over 14 years as a member of Parliament. The former prime minister and Conservative party leader is not expected to return when the House does next fall, already handing out new personal contact information to some as he prepares to launch his next career as an advocate for international causes that dominated his foreign policy while in office.

Cavaliers Crush Raptors in Game 5

Cleveland’s trio of Kevin Love, LeBron James and Kyrie Irving combined for 71 points as the Cavaliers thoroughly trounced the Raptors 116-78 to take a 3-2 lead in the NBA Eastern Conference finals. DeMar DeRozan had 14 points, while Kyle Lowry had 13, but no other Raptor scored in double digits in Toronto’s worst performance of these playoffs. Game six goes tomorrow at 8:30PM back in Toronto. They should have to give back those million+ dollar salaries after that performance.

Raps Carroll, Joseph Had Late-Night Casino Visit

On the morning of the latest, biggest game in Raptors history — just before 2am to be precise — two prominent Toronto players were spotted walking through a downtown Cleveland casino with a large group, clearly not in game-preparation mode. The Raptors had a team dinner on Tuesday night and stayed together to watch the Western Conference game between Oklahoma City and Golden State. Then it was supposed to be bed time. Coach Dwayne Casey says he was unaware of the late night outing and also said “This isn’t why we lost”.

Good morning. Marlies and Raptors bad night! Got mom up and walking just a bit, looking to move her to a rehab center. They want another place in the hospital; we are hoping St-Johns in Willowdale. Starting draining the pool and I may have found the main leak, 10”crack about 3’ down. Though it may be not the only one.
