Rockit - I am so very saddened to hear about your friend. Loosing someone so suddenly is so tragic. Another reminder that life is precious & never to be taken for granted....cause we never know.

Many of us have lost siblings (myself included) parents & friends.

I think our little forum here also serves as a support group sometimes.

These are a couple of morning shots from my BB that I keep looking at when I am at work missing being up north. I also recorded the Loons and listen to them too. Crazy huh?

....crazy?....nah, loons are a sign of a healthy lake....they are definitely an up-north sound, I love to hear them.....they have such a plaintive call.....TR

i was just walking by officer, noticed something interesting

Had the perfect Georgian Bay day yesterday...........my son and I were up at 6 a.m., portaged into a back lake , caught and released about 20 bass (kept 2 for dinner), then we were back on the Bay heading out to the Umbrella Islands. He is a steward for the Georgian Bay Land Trust and has to go check on the island a few times over the summer.
it don't get much better than this.
