Good Morning All!
Just listening to the "Monster Mash" still love that old song. Watched "Night of the Creeps" last night, bought it at the CNE where you could buy 5 CDs and/or DVD's for $20.
Had one of those wake up in the middle of the night and not go back to sleep nights so I'm very tired today. Better get my energy up as I've got more than an hour's walk to go curling for 2 hours and then I walk back, something tells me I may not play too well unless luck is on my side!!!

it's a fish - just a fish,,,,
Parrotfish, Great Barrier Reef
Photograph by David Doubilet, National Geographic
The clownish grin of a bridled parrotfish reveals its power tools: grinding teeth used to scrape algae from rock. Though sometimes destructive to individual corals, the fish's efforts are mostly beneficial. Without them, algal growth could smother the reef. Scarus frenatus

Good Morning Long Lost Qsters....
Pretty sad when one has to get to work before extending salutations to all Qmates and Scers!! Yes believe it or not I am still sans computer.... one more pay should do it...and then of course there's all the figuring out of which lap top to get... laughing - my phone contract ran out in June and I still haven't gotten around to getting a new phone..tech challenged!!!
Well obviously my snow dance is uneffective... - sorry Attitash - will dance by the moonlight tonight and see what I can do to bring on the white stuff!!!
Speaking of stuff...Stewy, I looked for you all around your fair toen last Tuesday, alas no luck, and had to depart heavy hearted...cute town though
Was lucky enough to be at the game this past Saturday - amazing...er and we won't mention last nights Sens game....
Wishing you all a wonderful Halloween....

Good morning, everyone.
Happy Halloween!!! I'll be dressing my brats up later to entertain the neighbour kids when they come home from school this aft (I didn't have it in me to get up early this morn).
I'm still recovering from my fun weekend. The highlight for me was a group called Retrocity (http://retrocity.ca). They are an a capella group with incredibly talented members. Unfortunately, I can't find their version of Thriller on youtube (yep, they do all the sound fx too!), but I did find these:

Their music director Suba Sankaran (the gal with the bow in her hair in the above vids) is one very talented lady. She's also the nicest person one could ever hope to meet.
I'm still working on trying to recover from the weekend festivities. Might go take a nap with the critters.
Hope everyone has a wonderful day.
For a smile, see our vids: http://www.youtube.com/lilyquincy

Wolf's return to German wildlife 'unstoppable': conservation chief
Wolves are thriving in Germany and could soon become part of its natural wildlife. One hundred years since hunting nearly wiped them out, they are moving back from forests on the Polish border. While 11 years ago there was one pack, there are now 12, and the return of the wolf to all of Germany is 'unstoppable', says Beata Jessel, head of Germany's Federal Agency for Nature Conservation. A two-year study by the agency surprised experts by disclosing the grey wolf had started to adapt to the modern environment. "Wolves do not need wilderness, rather they can rapidly spread in ourlandscape and fit into the most varied habitats" said prof Jessel
