Free-sperm donor told to stop

A California man who has fathered 14 children by donating his sperm for free has been told to stop or face a $100,000 fine.
Trent Arsenault, of Freemont, has been giving away his sperm to couples and single women he meets online since 2006, according to his donation website trentdonor.org.
"It only takes me 15 minutes to do my part," Arsenault, 36, told the San Francisco Chronicle. "They'll send me a text message, and by the time they get to my house, it's hot off the press."
The engineer with Hewlett-Packard has given away 348 vials of sperm to nearly 50 women, and three women were impregnated last month.
Federal regulations, however, say sperm donors must get tested for diseases at least a week before every donation.
He could face a $100,000 fine or a year in prison if he broke the U.S. Food and Drug Administration regulations

Just because it is free..... doesn't mean it is any good....

Years ago on the original Law and Order there was an episode of
a fertility Dr who impregnated his patients with his own sperm....
Turns out they all had inherited some uncommon disease from this Dr.
While these people in the show all paid for proper screened samples.
I am sure that story came from somewhere in the world. They usually
took stories that had been in the media. There are creeps everywhere !

M-I-L Update.

Well, I guess the squeaky wheel gets the boot! After conferring with patient services yesterday, she was transferred to Toronto Rehab at 7 am this morning.

Immediately after completing her placement assessment, Rehab folks asked for a family consult. They were confused as their assessment of her condition was nowhere near what was indicated on her transfer papers from East General.

When she first had her surgery, we were told that she would have to be able to walk "some" before she was transferred to rehab. Currently she can't sit up without assistance and has trouble feeding herself; she has been out of her bed, to sit in a chair directly beside the bed, only once since her surgery 11 days ago.

While Rehab would not tell us what was written on her EGH form, they did say that it was far more positive than either what they assessed or what we told then. We also found out that, typically, Rehab prefers their patients be more advanced in their recovery before they are admitted.

Am I wrong in thinking EGH just wanted to get rid of either her or us - or a combo thereof?

Hello everyone!

Just back from having an incredible time with Isaac! The whole house has strep throat, and now probably myself as well, but couldn't help it, as soon as I showed up he got out of his funk and came running over!

Last night took Desaree out for dinner for her birthday along with Stacie. So cute, Desaree told the waitress that she was turning 21 and Stacie lets the whole restaurant know, "NO YOU'RE NOT, YOUR 30!"

Life is GRAND!

Enjoy the holidays, but please, if you are going to drink, don't drive!
