Do you ever wonder how many fridays we have shared together?
We seem to find our way here no matter what is the weather,
Quite a few winners along the way,
& of course plenty of babbling, cause that's how we play,
Today you'll feel the warmth of the sun,
& protect your skin or you look like a dried out bun,
Do your gardening early or leave it to your spouse,
Although that would never happen around my house!
My idea of gardening is watering the veggies & flowers,
& I don't have the desire to do it for hours,
Summer thoughts & memories are coming to mind,
As when it comes to reminiscing, I am that way inclinded,
So, besides today have a bunch of nice days & remember to be evocative,

The battle is on. I just checked the scales and the weight is up . I quit smoking three months ago and now it is time to tackle the weight issue. I need your support as I plan to lose 20 lbs over the next three months.

Take a look at Loseit.com. It is a free website that helps you track your daily calories. Once you put in your age, height, weight and goal weight, it tells you how many calories per day you should be taking in. You log your food each day and it really helps you to stay on track. My best friend has lost 25 pounds and my hubby has lost 20. It really works. It keeps me on track maintaining my current weight.

Howdy Q folks.

Well, Declan and I are back from our big adventure. What a blast! Roger Waters puts on one heck of a show. Declan was in awe watching his first concert. I'll try to get a full review and some pics up tomorrow.

Weather wasn't the greatest but we sure did make the most of it. My friend Tracy drove down from Seattle yesterday and we all drove out to the coast so that we could say that we put a foot into the Pacific. Declan now has had the opportunity to make it to both the Atlantic and Pacific ocean.

Portland is a beautiful place!

Hey Tad glad you and Declan had a great time. The show was pretty amazing. I've seen a few shows in my time and I don't think it'll be matched...at least Declan's excuse for going other concerts could be..."Let's see if they (insert band here) can top the Roger Waters The Wall"

Friday could be hottest May 25 on record

TORONTO, Ont. - It could be the hottest May 25 ever in Toronto, breaking the record of 28.8 C, set in 2010.

Friday's forecasted high is 29 C with a humidex near 34.

The forecast for Toronto and GTA also calls for a mainly sunny sky, with a slight chance of thunderstorms for the afternoon for areas east of Toronto. The UV index will be 8 or very high.

It could also be the hottest day of the year so far. Below are the dates and temperatures for 2012:

• May 19 - 27.7 C
• May 20 - 27.6 C
• April 16 - 26.7 C
• March 22 - 26 C

Gotta get out of here - spending too much time looking up investing in rare colored diamonds, gold and silver!!!
