If you're a sports fan, I hope that your team won,
If you're a cook, I hope you cooked up a storm,
& if you baked an apple pie, please serve it warm,
If you napped on the couch I hope your energy is back up to speed,
Maybe you caught up on laundry & it is folded & all put away,
Or maybe you rocked to great tunes to round out your day,
If you were like me, you might have yacked on the phone,
& organized a drawer filled with gift soap & cologne,
Whatever you did or maybe did not get to,
I hope it was a day that was spiffy for you,
Once again I am rambling, but that seems to be my style,

Denny Hamlin ran away with the race today. came from starting 32nd & made it thru the field to 1st in 93 laps, then dominated the rest of the way.
there were 3 OT games in the NFL-Tennessee beat Detroit, KC beat New Orleans & NY Jets beat Miami at the end of it all. 10 games are done, 3 more are under way & 1 game left for tonight, then of course, there's Monday Night Football with Green Bay playing against the Seahawks.

miss mash of weather today is right!!! It poured all night long and into the morning @ the boat.... it cleared up late morning, but every once in a while it was start pouring again with blue skies.... I managed to stay warm and dry for the most part, but decided to leave a little earlier than I initially planned... the Barrie radio station was announcing possible thunder showers today and I really didn't want to get caught in it, so I left between rain showers..... I hope next week-end I can spend some time outside - at the boat....
