hicks, very relieved that your fur baby Jake is feeling better now after that allergic reaction. That had to be so frightening.

Just as a added note LOL. I rarely eat hot dogs to begin with let alone one from a 7-11. That should put me off for a while. I remember when someone told me many moons ago what was actually in a hot dog and I swear it was at least a year or more before I ate one again.

Happy Victoria Day to all my Q friends. CHEERS!!!! Back from Wasaga yesterday. Slept in my tent on Caturday night. A bit frosty but had lots of warm blankets and a sleeping bag. I sleep on a Queen size air mattress also so I'm pretty comfy. Went down to -2 with wind chill. When I moved position that's when you would feel a chill otherwise not bad. I love the fresh air. My friends smoke in their trailer so I hate sleeping in there as I don't smoke. Have an awesome sunny warm day to all.

I'm back in the land of tourists. Figured it would be better to escape Scarboro before my Mom got back (she's on the airplane as I type), so the brats don't get overly excited & keep everyone up all night. Tory fish will be happy to have her back, he was quite happy to get attention (yes, I know, only I would have a clingy fish ).

I'm in the midst of baking Victoria Day cookies for the neighbour pups. Here's Lily dog helping to taste test (well, first I made her pose with the "crowns").

Sorry about your stomach coyote, no hot dogs are not the way to go - I know a lot of people still eat them especially on the bar be que in the summer, but they really are pretty bad for you.............not to mention the cruelty factor involved...........

I went to a lawn bowling jitney - we didn't win any money but it was still fun....the season is starting up again this week......

I hope everyone had a long great week-end!! Mine was certainly a busy one, but I did get a chance to sneak some R&R in too!! My son's 3 buddies were a huge help getting the docks in and everything back into place... They're a great bunch of kids!!

We were very surprised to see a goose nest with 5 eggs right near the boat.... I don't think that "Mama" will let me come close enough to plant flowers in the planter and I don't know if I would even try...

I can't wait to see the little goslings when they hatch!!
