They are both hip urban types with great careers and like higher end things. I was thinking of these mugs as part of a coffee basket-in your honest opinion, are they too intimate? I think they are cute and would be fine as part of a coffee basket alahomom - nice usable engagement gift!

Yes, it's a real shock when the power we are so used to having goes out and we don't know for how long! Night before last around 11 p.m. I just heard on the radio how thousands were without power and thought wow I'm lucky to have mine when everything went out! I was on the 3rd floor of this house so glad I keep a flashlight nearby. I was actually lucky though because it suddenly came back on after only one hour.

I drove out to Guelph, from Mississauga, as usual Tuesday night. I hadn't gone that far, not even out of Mississauga, when all the streetlights on the highway suddenly went out, along with all the lighting in the adjoining neighbourhoods...
