Thanx for the thoughts & prayers. my brother is resting as comfortably as possible. they couldn't remove any of the tumour as it was entwined in the vocal cords & esophagus, so they had to put the trachea back in so he can breathe. the doctors are going to try an experimental type of drug that is suppose to shrink the tumour. they started that today. hopefully it will help shrink it so the trachea can be removed again.
when i went to leave work tonight, got in my car & it wouldn't start. no lights, no click, nada. tried boosting it & it would start momentarily, but die just as quickly. had to put a new battery in to get home tonight. at least it happened at work, instead of it dying on the way home or some place in the middle of no where.

Hopefully that experimental drug does the trick, H team. Sending positive thoughts your way.

On the other hand, I'm glad it was just a battery that you needed for the car. Of course it is an unwanted expense, but you should be good for a while now.

I used to look at my sleeping children to reaffirm that The Kids Are Alright,
Reassured that Behind Blue Eyes, two boys were sleeping fast & tight,
Were they dreaming about sailing out to sea or travelling aboard a Magic Bus?
Cause when it comes to an Amazing Journey there should really be no fuss,
We all tend to question others & may even wonder Who Are You?
Just keep it Pure & Easy, so then nothing will fall through,
When it comes to The Real Me, sometimes I’m not all that sure,
They say to accept no Substitute or beguiled by false allure,
The Seeker should look deep, for then they may easily foresee,
That we don’t all think quite alike, but you can hopefully say I’m Free,
Do not fall into a wasteland even if Baba O’Riley plays the temptation card,
You see, I think that My Generation should have learned; is it really all that hard?
I guess You Better You Bet is a good thing as long as logic is applied,
& yes of course the Long Live Rock is a philosophy that cannot be denied,
You don’t have to be a Pinball Wizard to qualify as my special friend,
Just keep your mind on your driving my dears & you Won’t Get Fooled Again.
