went to SD today to get the Advil NT for $3.99 with $4 off. I took 3 pcks. when I went to pay for it the cashier girl took 2 coupons and the 3rd she refused. The till kept refusing it and she said she couldn't adjust the price nor she could do overage so I could only use 2. So I took 2 pks only. On top of that I didn't get my points so I'm gonna go back with my receipt to SD tomorrow and spk to a manager. hopefully I'll get my points.

I had problems yesterday to they refused to let me use my coupons and didn't give them back, was told cannot use because value higher then product, so I went home and called SD in Belleville to see if they allowed the coupon and they said they don't take any coupons for items on sale nor do they take when coupon has higher value.

sorry I haven't seen their policy but I am now looking for it, but I do think I seem a post where someone said each store makes their own, can someone clarify this for me? thanks

I knew that i saw it somewhere and found it. but i am not sure how to attach a pdf file. so I'll just copy and paste it. here is the sdm coupon policy.

Our stores have been directed to refer to the conditions printed on the coupon
when accepting. As all coupons are different, we do not have a specific coupon
policy in place at this time. We would suggest speaking with the Front Store
Manager directly with any further inquiries or concerns you may have.
This being said, to answer your questions:
1. Internet coupons are usually accepted by our stores.
2. One coupon per purchase means one coupon per item per purchase
although stores may limit quantities; often a limit of four.
3. A cashier can adjust the coupon discount if it is higher than the sale price
TO the sale price. This would likely be done manually.
Please do not hesitate to contact the Customer Service Call Centre at 1-800-
SHOPPERs should you require assistance in locating store contact information.

Thank u all for your good working finding and sharing couponas anf reebies- Have a $3 similac cheque to trade for FPC- I have a 1 year old- but am willing to negotiate!
Also have many other coupons id love to trade for another good coupon

Yup I have the same coupon policy. I made sure to read it and understand it before I went to use it. I wasn't trying to do a purchase for 15 or 20 pks. It was ONLY 3 and I kow others have done it. To me it seemed like the girl didn't know what she was doing. I bought another product and after she refused the last coupon and tried entering the other product she kept getting the same error. I was like so are you gonna tell me now that I can't buy that either?
She took my last coupon too and didn't give back. I stood there and staired @ her & finally since she didn't understand I told her I want my coupon back & she gave it back But I want my points that's the only reaosn I went there otherwise I would've PM'd @ WM

I know they can't price adjust the coupons but they can price adjust the product. With problems like that, I would bring the manager in right away.

I had a problem today with the Purex sale. They wouldn't ring in my $3 coupon, and there was no manager, so I told them I would go to Walmart. Ugh, everytime there's a sale there's problems at SDM...

I had 2 Purex coupons for $3 off - Purex on sale for $2.99 so I bought 2 and they rang them through - no problem.

I went yesterday - I got 16 packages, used the $4 off coupon for each - they price adjusted the COUPON not the product, and gave me all 16 at once, after the transaction I asked her to check if there were more, which she politely did - then told me to come in Around noon Thursday when there truck will be there with more.
I then went to walmart where I had them price adjust 10 packs for me - using $4 coupons as well.......

I had problems yesterday too, at first but they did reduce the amount of the coupon. Just a suggestion ... There are a LOT of people having the same problem. On the Facebook webpage I know there is a discussion on this. The SDM person has replied and is looking into problems like you had. If everyone that was having this issue popped a comment on there, I think this run around would stop... Just a thought ..

You won't get the points as its considered to be a FPC ( since ur getting it for FREE ) & code 2002 must have been used to process your cpn .
Now if the Advil was more than $ 4.00 & you had used the cpn you would have got the points as code 2001 would have been used to process the cpn
