I did my first recycling walk yestrday and was shocked at how many people dont clip the coupons on their boxes. I found like 8 fpcs from cerial boxes and tons of 1$ off creams, a few yogurt 1$ offs. it was like christmas. At least I got coupons without the mail lol.

I stood beside the royal TP in SDM handing out cpns - I've been saving them up for months- don't know what the stock boys thought but a couple of people thought I worked there...lol
handed out a couple of huggies cpns too. It was the brightspot in an otherwise awful weekend.

It is said that only 4% of Canadians actually use coupons, it's crazy. People work so hard for their money now a day's why would you want to just toss it away. I hope the mail strike get settled soon, I want to send out some more envies, but the ones I sent out before are probably stuck in never never land somewhere, as I havn't heard back from anyone yet to say they received them. Please, please......move the mail! Have a great day everyone.

I had three of the coupons for a free box of chocolate Cheerios that can only be redeemed today. I had went to Zehrs and Walmart, both were sold out. I called Metro and they said they had some, so I went there. Underneath the boxes were some .50 off coupons for the Cheerios. An elderly woman was there buying some boxes and taking one of the .50 off coupons for each box that she had. I picked up my boxes and was going to walk away, and she stopped me and told me that if I took one of the coupons I could save 50 cents on the box. I thanked her for taking the time to tell me and explained that I had coupons for a free box, and gave her one. Her face lit right up. :D Made me feel good!

Hope everyone is having a great day! Just got back from Co-Op, my daughter and I got our boxes of Cheerios, and my grandson was already asking when was the sleepover so he could have some, lol. It was nice to see that they had so many boxes. The cashier said one lady was through early this morning and she got 20 boxes. She asked what would someone want with all that cereal. I said maybe she has a large family, or maybe she is dropping it off at the foodbank. The cashier sort of sneared. I finished my order, then I handed her a box of mine and said, hear you go, you get one for free today too! Her faced lit up. Just a small gesture but it made me feel so much better.

Was at Zellers getting my Lysol No Touch (with my $5.00 coupon)
Little girl infront of me was buying a loaf of Wonder bread.
Cashier rang it in and she was short 55 cents.
I paid for her bread and told her to keep the money
She was floored.
I was happy to do my good deed.
Never met a dog or coupon I didn't like.

Had a great time today at the local WM playing coupon fairy. Sorted my books last night, gathered the extras and dropped them off while I shopped. Had someone who found one come up to me (while dropping off more coupons a few isles over) thank me....totally made my day!
