Had a great time today at the local WM playing coupon fairy. Sorted my books last night, gathered the extras and dropped them off while I shopped. Had someone who found one come up to me (while dropping off more coupons a few isles over) thank me....totally made my day!

Love this idea! I have some coupons in here that I put up on trade but well....the whole mail situation so I was upset because they are going to go to waste because I won't use them...but I'm definatley going to drop them off next grocery shop!!! THANKS!

I went shopping for my chocolate cheerios today, and while I was out, I gave coupons to people, and left a bunch by different products.

One man I gave a coupon to was looking a windex, and I had a bogo for it, so i offered it to him, and he said "Well I don't know if I'm even going to buy these today!"

He left the cleaners lane, and I continued to look at the different cleaners for a little while. I kept noticing his head peeking around the corner at the end of the lane, checking to see if I was still there...I left the lane and he was literally running into the lane from the other end to get the windex with the coupon I gave him...It was too funny!!

Went into Walmart today to pick up the free chocolate Cheerios and saw a lady with Purina One dog food in her cart, I gave her a coupon I had for $1 or so off and she seemed so shocked. She checked it over and then just beamed and said thanks! Great feeling!

I was at Freshco today and an elderly couple was ahead of me in line. I had some extra coupons for items they were getting so I gave them one for Nordica cottage cheese and for Bounty. She was so appreciative!

As I was wandering around in Walmart with my sister tonight we were in the baby isle. And there was a couple discussing the proces and sizes of diaper boxes. I run back to my cart and grab out 4 coupons. And brought them over to them. The mom had about a 2 yr old with them and one on the way. I said to her that excuse me but i'd like to give you something if that is ok. She looks at me funny and says oook. I explained to her that i had 2 $5.00 off papmers coupons if you by the wipes and 2 $2,00 off any pampers. And looks liek they could use them now. She was so excited and replied" I LOVE COUPONS!!!" lol she says thanks so much that will really help us out. I asked her when she's due and come to find out it's anyday! and she was having contractions at the time!!! WOW!! i congratulated her and wisshed her the best and enjoy the coupons!! Again she thanked me very much..... I felt like a queen doing that for her. Later I noticed that they had gone back and got enough diapers and wipes to use all the coupons!! YAY!!

Well, I am really hurting tonight, time to take more pain meds and go to bed. Maybe the pain will be less tomorrow, I sure hope so, the sun is suppose to shine. I hope everyone has a wonderful evening. If the mail starts moving again by the end of the week, I am going to send out a few mystery envies next week. I probably have several in the middle on postal helllllll somewhere when they should be in the hands of all you deserving people. Hopefully things will get moving. On Friday I was in Walmart with my mother and I was doing my shopping and dropping off June expiry coupons with certain items next to them on the shelf. I went down the aisle for Ziplock baggies. I do NOT need any...have oodles, but I had 4 B2G2 free coupons. My mom used one and there was an elderly couple trying to decide which ones to get. I offered them 2 of the coupons and they were so surprised and happy to get it. That led them into a long discussion on should they get 4 of the same, 4 different, 2 of each. LOL.

Then the man says, "Whatcha got there?" referring to my binder. I explained about my couponing and the websites I go to to get them, etc. He looks at my mom and asks, "This your daughter?" My mom said proudly "Yup!". He said "You outta be proud of her. No shame in saving some bucks" To which my mom says "I'm very proud of her...show them your book. Well, by now there's another lady in the aisle and the elderly woman is offering her the 2nd coupon for Ziploc that she's not going to use and is explaining to them that I gave it to them and how I collect coupons.

The man is pouring over my binder and at one point I had some anxiety, thinking OMG if he tries to distract me and steal it...nah....he's not like that...and I could out run him! LOL. Then he saw a coupon for tums so he asked me where I got it and how could he get one. I just gave it to him, which he was very happy about but I was worried then he was going to start coupon shopping through my binder, so I closed it up, said to my mom, 'C'mon...we gotta get finished with our shopping..." and off we went.

A few aisles over we ran into them again and they were buying milk...Asked me "Hey...you gotta coupon for milk?". Which I didn't but we both laughed...

was a nice experience instead of people giving you looks like you're broke or poor while you go through the binder.

loike your pay it forward -today i am meeting my brother -he and his wife are in their sixties -he doesnt have a large income-so i asked him if her wanted deodorant- a few soup-he asked me if i had laundry soap -only his wife needs the no scented ones and i had a sunlight green and clean -free and clear-nice to help out family

I am new to couponing and new to this site this month. I have learned so much from this site and have seen a few negative comments so far (mostly positive though). I think this is a great thread. Great idea! I am a single mom of 3 boys living in a small town. Since I started I feel like the only one that uses coupons here (weird looks and cashiers that have never seen a coupon before lol!). It's nice to read the brags and read the posts on where to find deals or coupons. I have posted my first two brags and it feels nice to have people that are supportive and helpful and I really enjoy letting people know where I got some of my deals. I am glad that there are so many scer's that are devoted to keeping it positive. Thanks and great job to all!
