Time to "pay it forward!!!" The first two new people, with a trade score of less than 10, and who joined between April and now, who send me a message in this thread will be sent an envelope with assorted coupons. I was on the receiving end of envies so it is time I pay it forward as well.

Oops! I pm'd you! I have a trade rating of 0. Really, really want to get into trading but still quite intimidated by the whole process and where to start! I joined in July. It was 2009!!! You didn't state a year LOL!

I love pay it forward deals and hope that I can soon have big enough stacks to be able to trade and also to give newbies and help them out.

Seriously that is awesome. I cannot believe how generous SCs are. I just started trading..I was kinda scared to PM someone who didn't know anything about but a leap of faith and i have only had an awesome experience so far.

I even sent a lady coupons that she could use while visiting in Ottawa, I had them and was going to have to trash them soon.

Thanks to everyone for all the helpful tips and advice.

I was at Freshco today and a mom with a little boy was trying to decide what kind of Summer Fresh hummus to get. He wanted one kind but she wasn't sure he would like it. I gave her a BOGO so she could get them both.

It was funny- she looked at my binder and said "you're one of those, eh?" I just laughed and said yeah. But she thanked me for the coupon.

I was getting my envies ready for two trains today during my lunch hour at work. My coworkers are always laughing at me that I use coupons... and since this is the first itme they've seen me with them at hand (2 x $100+) I offered to let them take whatever they wanted.

One lady is always very 'upscale' and has always refused to buy things on sale, except her 25+ Coach purses at 30% off the outlet stores. She's about to be out of a job at the end of the month. She took a bunch of Finish detergent and I told her how to stack them

The other lady lives in a really rich area of town. She and her husband (and two young girls) just bought their first house (yes, she still has a lady come in three days a week to clean her house) but she's now realized after hosting all the Stanley Cup Finals games at her house, how much she's actually spending on food. She took about $30 worth of coupons, cereal, pickles, hand soap and a bunch of other random things. She's also slowly getting into learning to cover her eyes when it comes to Brand names.

I feel a lot better now that they're finally starting to see how expensive things are! And that they actually gave in, and took some!

Nice to read all the nice things that are happening. Have been really busy, and sick so haven't had a chance to do much of anything. Tomorrow I am going to send out another mystery envie, so keep talking about all the great things you are all doing, I love to read it, and you never know when it will be your turn for a mystery envie. I'm not sure where else to post this, but I love the idea of pay it forward.

I have a small pile of $2.50 Purina coupons (the ones from the previous SmartSource?). If you do pet food donations, please pm me. First pet food donator who pm's me with their address can have them all

(I would do this myself but my local SPCA does not want them...go figure)
