My kids do this at school. It's a great craft, especially for the younger ones who tend to spill paint a lot. It's easier for them to work with and much more forgiving if they accidentally tip their cup of paint over. And it doesn't drip!

excellent for cleaning up grease, squirt it on let it sit for a couple of mins and then wipe off, no elbow grease required.

Rainbow Coloured Bath Cream - My children are going to love that, they think I'm a stick in the mud so I'll get bonus points. I actually wasn't going to stockpile shaving cream as hubby doesn't shave too often u changed my mind. Thanks for the tips.

I use my Satin Care for just that purpose (it's more gel than cream really, but it basically does the same thing.) Either that, or a bit of St. Ives skin cream - I sometimes "condition" the back of my neck/hairline/ears with it before dying. Then, after I dye and most of it wipes off with warm water (or during the rinse) I'll use a bit more cream and massage it into the area. By the time I shower the next morning, all the colour is completely gone.

I find a bit of the shave gel is good for getting finger prints off stuff too - particularly if they are grease based on a shiny surface. We had a window foam cleaner that did the same thing, but it smelled really bad and stung if you got it on your skin. Whereas the shave gel doesn't leave a residue that can't be wiped away right away, and really gets rid of the greasy prints with very little work. I use it on some of my high-gloss acrylic platforms for product photography.

Wow! Who would have guessed! Cool ideas!
Just joined Kiva.org, an organization that funds micro-loans to people in developing countries. I love the idea that the $25 I saved in groceries can be given to a fish woman with 5 children in the Philippines to help grow her business.

It all sounds like fun, but i'm wondering how much it'll hurt if it gets in a child's eyes? (sorry, I'm kind of a worry wart lol)

Another idea for fine motor skills, is squirt some foam into a ziploc bag and let the kids squish it around (add a squirt of food coloring and let them mix it in).
I use this too - I have my preschoolers practise their letters and numbers by 'writing' on the ziplock bag. They love it.
