Dollarama ACCEPTS Coupons now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I visited two dollarama store in LONDON and refused twiced by cashiers and managers!!!

They told me DOLLARAMA DO accept coupons, but only limited DOLLARAMA IN STORE COUPON!!!!

I can't believe it!

ANYONE heard of their IN STORE COUPON????

I e-mailed the head office and they have confirmed that they do take coupons at all stores, can I suggest that you e-mail the head office and print up the reply e-mail and bring it with you, maybe they don't even understand that they can use coupons.

I work at Dollarama as a keyholder and I know at my store we will take coupon (not yet now), still waiting for the official policy from Head Office except a note that coupon will be entered as cash!

My sister is a supervisor at the Dollarama in Amherst, NS. I just got off the phone with her, she said NO coupons accepted at this location....

UPDATE:: just got a email back they said that YES>>. you can us coupons, wait till i tell my sister I'm gone to take a copy inthe am and acopy of the email with me and oh yes a copy for them.....sister especially lol

Confirmed here in Kamloops that our store WILL be taking coupons but it won't be for a while, they have to update the tills.

I had a memorable Dollarama visit today lol. I bought a towel ring, and micrifibre mop head, but tried a couple coupons, since they told me on the 1st, that yes, they would accept them.

Well, they interpreted one per purchase, to mean, per transaction, which is fine, I can get more scrunges later, but when I tried to use the Nivea coupon on the hand soap refill, I was first denied, because it wasn't in the picture. then as we read through the restrictions together, they (2 cashiers and a "keyholder") decided that I could use one on a pump hand soap, but not the refill, as it was not a hand and body product lol.

I was also told quite rudely that if i wanted to buy tons (I wanted 4 scrunges lol) I would have to come when a manager was working, to approve.

I kinda though it was a cute experience, and humbled me, as I remembered that yes, there are people left who have never seen, or used a coupon

Also, they have to enter each item bought with a coupon, as a seperate transaction. I do hope for all the Dollarama cashiers, that they get updated tills to process coupons, and maybe a small crash course, as to what they are, and how they work

Belleville ON is taking coupons now however, they will not accept any coupon that is the same value as the product, ie scronge is 1.00 they will not take a 1.00 coupon, every single purchase I tried to make that had a coupon was rejected because of this, asked them what coupons they would be taking as most were 1.00 and well they were a dollar store and they said, well we only take one under 1.00 as this is what HO said. they also count 1 purchase as whole transaction. Only 1 coupon allowed. I guess I am going to have to go through all these wonderful threads and find a contact number for HO for some clarification to all this because this no coupon worth same as product doesn't seem right.

Thanks for the info! It is nice to see another Belleville member . I asked about two weeks ago (north front st) and they said they didn't accept coupons at that time. Is this more recently? The lady said that she had a couple people call her that week regarding coupons. I wonder if it was our SC members LOL

Hello, I am an employee at dollarama, and my store does accept coupons. Please dont get frustrated if the store you go to refuses them or misunderstands the restrictions on the coupon. The dollorama district managers that notify the store managers do not go into detail, about how to process the coupon. A basic memo has been sent out to several stores, simply saying that we do accept coupons. My advice to those regarding more information about coupons is too call Dollarama head office in montreal for the most accurate infromation and most up to date policies.
