the amaryllis blooms don't last very long... maybe a few days .. and yes they are very heavy and huge!

^^^ these last two are the kind I'd like to have a huge wall sized version of in a loft apartment.. particularly like the little mothy thingy guy... that pic sorta tells a little story... he's hiding... you find him ...

trucks... sorry to hear you're afraid of heights... I love going out on the balcony and freaking dh out by leaning way out over the balcony railing and see sawing back and forth...

one last one.... with a little story..
about 5 years ago as I was going out to get my Saturday morning paper (back in the old days when I actually got up early in the morning) I saw this outside our front door..
someone in our building had thrown several cans of white paint down on that van... it was a mess! the paint on the road took years to fade away...
darn drunks...

this is from last winter..a really cold day following a rainy day..this "unicorn's horn" lasted a whole 2 hours inside..

Those are the oldest pairs of shoes i have..i dont wear them anymore..they sit on the shelf
I think i write/draw on all of my shoes that have a inch of spare space.
Lets see..it has a few people's names..i wore them in europe and got a local artist to sign them. They have a poem on them that someone wrote. A little stick figure couple on the front. I got a favourite artist in california to sign them too...the guy who draws all the stick figure/colourful photos that I sometimes post..they have been all over with me.
