She does have talent, now get her to smile, I know she was nervous and all but that whole exuding confidence thing by smiling goes a lot in the delivery of the song.
Tell her to put other songs up too and get more exposure with different songs to showcase all her abilities. Good luck to your friend, hope she gets lots of hits on the you tube!
