I haven't been outlet shopping in the states.... an experience that is long overdue I think.

The last few years I've gone on a girls shopping trip with the future in laws the weekend of black Friday, but we skip the Friday shopping. Saturday morning is awesome - there are still HUGE deals but the malls are completely empty until the afternoon, we find, since everyone is shopped out from the day before.

Then there's the herbashine girls, who are total bltches, handing out sample to only some people apparently. I listened to her drivel about the brand along with two other girls and when she was done she handed them coupons and totally ignored me. So I asked her if they were handing out coupons or samples today and she said only to people with hair colours the same as she had the dyes for. So basically if you're a blonde you'd only get one if she has a blonde sample. Nevermind if you wanted to go lightbrown or anything like that!!

Then at the end of her completely ignoring me she said she doesn't have a sample for my haircolour and hands me a coupon. So I pointed to the very visible one that did match, shoved the coupon back in her hand and told her to keep it. I was so mad at how rude she was. The ladies behind me saw what happened and walked off with me. What a witch!

All right, FI is driving me absolutely crazy and I need to find him a new job... ideally 9-5 type stuff in the DT... he's especially good at learning policies and applying it... auditing docs, credit policies, benefits, that type of thing. If you know of any openings... pls let me know. Pls. Seriously. Save my sanity.

In other news, I am sad, but not very surprised, to report that I am not the winner of $50,000,000, and thus not the soon-to-be-retirer of our gang's mortgages.

I was really looking forward to calling you all and asking you to skip work or cancel your plans for Monday so we could go to your respective banks to do some paperwork.


Oh well. The $5 still entitled me to fantasize for a few days. I do so little to amuse myself that I think it's worth it, despite the odds.

Dinglehopper does a lot of charity work with shelters, and I think she can always use them, if there are other ones. If she can't make it to the meet, I can mail them to her for you.
