Pricematching-Something new for No Frills

No Frills has now decided to try their hand at pricematching. A manager told me that they will now pricematch anything from METRO,FOOD BASICS,FOODLAND and WM only. The cashier informed me that I knew more about it than she did. It seems stores are becoming more and more competetive all the time. Mabybe it won't be long before everyone pricematches.

I saw this advertised all over our store as well, and they had taken down the 'usual' same priced items that are up on the board.. this is SO amazing if its true. They are going to do quite well in our area I think..so does anyone have any more info on what the PM includes. (at one point it was ONLY front page flyer items) so is it now the whole store?

i noticed this in the flyer too.. didnt realise it was a new policy. But i have never price matched yet.. still good to know =) no frills is one of my regular stores

We can even bring a receipt to pricematch? that's even better than WM and Zellers.

YAY! I was sooooo excited when I saw this in my NF flyer last week.

I pricematched some Ristorante pizza and Cheestrings from Food Basics. They let me price match as many as I wanted, but I got 4 pizzas. And also, they take coupons on top of that!

A friend at work was amazed that the cashier had no clue what she was talking about, especially when my friend noticed that the back of the cashiers tshirt had written on it that they pricematch LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi.... No Frills cashier here lol Yes we price match now but a few things that it doesn't say in the flier that it said on our info in our lunch room about it... We don't match stores like that aren't considered "grocery stores" like SDM or Giant tiger or Zellers even if they have some food items in the flier, and we also can't match any other Loblaws owned stores...
