Does anyone know when the stores start putting these on clearance?

We really wanted to get one this year, but its not something we can afford until the end of Aug. now. We're hoping thats when they'll start putting them on end of season clearance. Does anyone know how much cheaper (percentage wise) they put them on for? We really like the big $600 ones (So, there will be enough room for our family of almost 6), but can't justify paying that much on them lolThis thread is currently associated with: N/A

I've noticed that RCSS often starts putting their summer stuff on "clearance" around mid-July; however, it remains on "clearance" for the whole summer and the clearance price isn't all that fantastic, IMO.
Have you tried the Sears Outlet store (Oxford & Wonderland Rd). The advantage to this is that you get fairly high quality stuff but it's usually priced a lot lower than if you walked into a regular Sears store.
And I think (but I could be wrong) that the Sears Outlet also abides by the same flyer specials as regular Sears stores--so it's like getting double the discount because things are reduced to begin with.
They have a fantastic clothing section. That's what draws me in every time.

I got mine at walmart in mid-July. Its a big one, 6 comfy chairs and umbrella. Reg price was 499.99, but got it for 180. For Walmart garden items, I was told that their clearance prices were up to each individual store.

My patio umbrella is just about toast, this will be its last season. I'm waiting for something like those square umbrella things, are they called gazebos?

Watch out for gazebo's in heavy rain, as in, take down the cover or invest in extras during clearance season. (worked at Loblaws and for the 4 summers I was at CS and we sold those things that was the #1 complaint).
But yea, Loblaws/RCSS clearance starts mid-july and gets really good at the end of August....
