I've never made Paska bread before, Natalka. Can you take a picture of yours?
I will when the 'good' ones are done - this is from last year - the basket we take to church to be blessed.
The one at the bottom is a Paska - the base has twisted/braided dough, then decorations are on top - X for Christ in Ukrainian in this case, plus others.
The other bread with the smooth top is a Babka, made in a all cylinder shape.

More Chocolate Chip Cookies for a party this past Saturday - they were gone super fast! Should have made a double batch :P
I made double chocolate mint cupcakes with mint buttercream icing, a mint oreo to top them off & a red marashino cherry to add a drop of color...all this on a Saturday night for my co-workers to enjoy on Sunday... :blob9:
I have tried my first triple chocolate cake (my granny used to bake when I was little). but unfortunatly i did not take any pics :( It looked rather "mashy" anyway as you might imagine, but the taste was good (of course not as good as granny's). It was dark chocolate dough, chocolate cream and a white choc topping, Oh dear, what a bomb.
banana muffins and a loaf of coconut bread. Not exactly the sexiest baking around, but it sure is yummy. LOL
making trail mix cookies...oats, raisins, sunflower seeds, and crystallized ginger. Yum!
Today I made cheesy dinner rolls and blueberry/banana muffins! I want to get some sugar cookies made too! :)
