Just not having luck with any other contests; mind you, I've been entering fewer than usual, seems like so many are for trips - which I'm not interested in.

I have entered a contest where the prize is trip for two to a destination or cash. Have seen a few vacation gift card/credit type of prizes lately but the cash option is more appealing.

This is amazing - I am still pinching myself! About 3 weeks ago, I was phoned at 8:10am on a Tuesday morning & was told I won a radio contest (in Vancouver, BC) for a weekend in LA to see a 2 night concert.

Over 2 days we saw: The Doobie Brothers, Steeley Dan, Earth Wind & Fire, The Eagles, Journey & Fleetwood Mac. Also, jamming with The Eagles, Vince Gill came out along with Bob Seger! It was AMAZING & was outdoors in the sunshine at Dodger Stadium!

This included airfare for 2, concert tickets (good seats) & hotel.

But the kicker is that at about 8:20, while I was getting over my shock of winning, my cell rang again. I ALSO won (from another radio station) an all inclusive trip for 2 to the Mayan Riviera, Mexico.

I was pretty fumbfounded. I guess I have used up my "big wins" for pretty much the rest of my lifetime.

Winning 2 major contests less than 15 minutes apart was so shocking - I did a happy UGLY cry right there in the office.

We plan on using the Mexico trip this January.

Wow ! :O I would have loved to have seen that concert....all the bands I used to listen to when I was in my teens/twenties !!

What radio station was that ?? (I'm in West Vanc)....I guess I should stop listening to sports radio all day lol I"m missing out !!
