Sort of brag sort of rant

Well i went shopping today once for our "big" grocery shop when we get our essentials like meat and produce and what not, and once to stop in at Zeller's and grab some tuna and take a look at clearance items!

Well I will start with my upsetting news so I can finish with a smile!

I went to Fresh Co (I was in the area not my normal shopping place) I picked up my essentials and used a few coupons...What I was SUPER excited about though was my $1 off 2 tetley herbal teas coupon I found!!!
I am an AVID AVID Tea drinking (I have english blood) so you can only imagine my excitement...I avergae 4-6 teas a day be it black/green/herbal whatever!! I was actually drinking a Tim's when I found these lol!!!

So I got excited grabbed two teas, one coupon for that purchase and I think 4 more for future purchases (I don't hoard but there was literally like 5 tear pads!!!) I figured I was being conservative at 4 lol!!

So I use my coupon... and leave i get home look at the ones I scored
THEY EXPIRED JULY 31ST 2011!!! WTF!!!!!

I ALSO stopped at Zeller's and found some D'italiano bread coupons, and got excited AGIAN!!!! Because my DBF LOVES the buns and the bread is quite tasty and usualy a great price. I took a look EVERY SINGLE BOOKLET HAD THE COUPON RIPPED OUT EXCEPT ONE!!!
Not cool....So another let down!! Like really? And I would assume it was the same person...because they were all torn and not just taken...SERIOUSLY......SERIOUSLY.....SERIOUSLY!!!
I'm just annoyed don't mind me I thought I scored great today...not so much!! lol the best part is they took my coupon at fresh co...?? Didn't even look...I had NO IDEA they were expired....otherwise I would have just walked right by but like holy really guys it's been over a week.....

But I did find some great deals today

Grabbed betty crocker fruit snacks $1.99- $1 CPN= $.99 bought them for my dear mother
Marc Angerlo 8 pork kabobs (frozen) for $5 dollars- $1 mail out = $4 or $.50 each bought two of those!!
And a bag of cheese tortillini for $5 so that was great and it is a HUGE! bag!

i went trial size/clearance nazi hardcore!!!
6x $.89 clover leaf tuna - $2 = $3.34 or $.56 a can (flavoured LOVE THIS STUFF)
2x reactine 10 mg on clearance (blue ticket) for $2.49 - $2 internet CPN and $2 mailout = $.49 each
1x benadryl itch stick on clearance (blue ticket) for $2.80- $2.50 printable coupon = $.30
Meow mix $.69 - FPC= FREE
2x Tylenol cold clearance (blue ticket) on for $2.99 each - $4 off WUB2 = $.99 each
Iams trail size dog food $1.99- $2 P&G= FREE

YaY!!!

plus I got a free trial reactine in my mail today!!!
And I bought chicken burger's with $12 of CPNS on the back....

So overall it was a positive day regardless of my little speed bumps!!!
