So I'm new to this board, but I must say all your great deals and brags have got me excited!
Anyway, I thought I'd try my luck at a brag, hopefully it's worth reading!
I went out to the mall this morning and started out going to my daily guilty pleasure, starbucks. I had a reciept from last week , I had won a free drink. So I started my morning off with a free drink from starbucks!
After work I was asked to go see a movie, (okay so, I took some time off work, what can I say!) I had two free movie passes, however only used one tonight and then I also had a free snack coupon, so all I had to pay for was a drink. 3.41 or something silly like that.
After the movie, I then went for a beautiful walk, and I must say it was a nice day!
I found this all very exciting, me being new here and all that
What's the nicest day you've had for almost nothing!?This thread is currently associated with: Starbucks

my most recent free day out was when it was my bday last month and i went to the mall to collect my various freebies (free orange julius, free chocolate bar, free makeup kit at sephora), then got my free burger at red robin during dinner with friends, then used a movie ticket i won in a contest to watch prince of persia!Want Amazon.ca or other gift cards? mmmm. Starbucks.

Free starbucks?

Great brag. A little self indulgence can be a good thing!
Hey, did you send away for the free starbucks coffee thing? There was a thread on here awhile ago-- sign up with your email and tell them what you'll do to better the environment and they'll send you a coupie for a free coffee. Definitely check it out if you like that coffee. (I know I do.)
Nicest day I've had for almost nothing?
Well, I'm a sentimental old fart, lol, so that would be EVERY single day of my life with the kiddies and DH.

We went out for a lovely dinner the other night at Kelsey's using a GC that my brother and his wife gave us for our anniversary. Enjoyed the evening "out" with my dh!

You just click on the "quote" button that appears at the bottom right of the box of the poster that you want to quote, then when the "reply" window pops up, you simply put your mouse at the end of all the original stuff (meaning, the brackets), click, and type your response.
(My goodness. I think I made that sound way more complicated than it needed to.)

Welcome - great brag!
My favourite free night was early this year. My son's preschool (kind of like a big McDonald's playground) was being featured on live TV at 6am last fall so I took the kids because I love the owners and the place has done wonders for them
Anyway, not many parents were as brave as we were, so the owners gave us two "kids night out" packages for free! We took our two boys there and they got to play on the equipment, watch a movie and have some popcorn. While they were occupied, my husband and I went to dinner with a gift certificate for Kelsey's that we received for Christmas! The baby (3 months old, still nursing at the time) came with us and slept the entire time. What a great night!

That's awesome on free day!
My most recent favorite free day was this past Sunday!
Free Weezer concert at Ottawa's Bluesfest! And my friend didn't want his second beer he got, so he gave it to me for free! I wouldn't've paid for the beer, it was gross, but being free makes it tastier

What a fun day you had. I haven't had a free day yet. So you have me beat. One day I am sure it will happen. I just have to look for it.
