Especially when you don't get the good drugs afterward because you are breastfeeding. *Glares over at Noah asleep in his playpen while she suffers in silence well not really because she's complaining right now but you know what I mean, right?*

Thu, Oct 13th, 2011, 01:59 AM #1999My daughter just had two wisdom teeth pulled. I can commiserate with you, if DD is suffering, she needs everyone around her to suffer too! She wasn't impressed when I mentioned that I went to work the same day that I had mine yanked.

Is it weird that I like movies like Sin City and Sucker Punch? My DH says it's weird because of all the scantily clad ladies, but I love the dark gothic feel!

Just got back from taking DD2 and her friends bowling as her b'day party.
We'd eaten and were waiting for our lane when some woman walked into the party room and told DD1(13) these 2 girls would be bowling with us. They were 3 and 4ish.
When I queried with the staff...no I had 6 places booked on 2 lanes for my group, they would find the parents and get them to bowl with the kids....
We started and the 2 girls were brought back by an older woman and left with us. DD1 returned them. Then a younger woman came over and asked when thier turns were as she walked off.....WTF!
I returned them and said " They are not bowling with us!"
To which the reply was " Well we're all adults and it's not fair on them!" And " Well you have children as well!
"...More WTF!
5 mins later return kids to staff, informing them that the 2 girls keep coming over to us and distrubting our game..cue withering glares from the adults....
Eventually the staff found them something to do but the adults kept glaring at us and making comments to each other .....urgh!
Some people as so entitled. I would never have dreamt of leaving my kids with a stranger, not even a female stranger with kids...Not for bowling anyway.

I know, if I'd wanted to look after young children at the bowling alley, I've got friends who would no doubt love a couple of childfree hours.

Wtf??? If they wanted a child free evening to themselves, could they not find friends or family to watch them for a few hours??
They would rather have some stranger look after them. Some people are seriously messed. I would have said no to!!
