you guys are a panic between last nights & todays banters. thanx for the wws, trivia & reps. enjoy this weekend, it should be a nice one.

Nope, was watching Deadliest Catch

Phil Harris, captain of the Cornelia Marie, died at the end of last week's episode (he actually died Feb 9, 2010). This episode dealth with the notification to the fleet and the funeral. It was so sad and I found myself actually getting teary-eyed when Keith Colburn, captain of the Wizard, had a little ceremony, packed a pot in tribute to Phil and rang the ship's bell 8 times (nautical slang for "the end").

It's a TV show for pete sake and I started welling up!!!!

been watching that as well. just as his kid was finally turning his life around in rehab, phil dies. it was a sad ending to that episode. the fireworks were a nice touch too.

It's more a documentary with real people, real lfe and real deaths. Since the show has aired there have been aproximately 8-9 deaths associated with the actual ships shown. It's one of the shows I never miss an episode of. Phil Harris was one of the most popular of all the captains

it's not an easy life at all, but i guess someone has to do it. great show . that's a lot more reality TV than the rest of those so called "reality shows".

Well we already did the resort living earlier this year. So we can't spoil the kids all the time. Besides, they actually do like sleeping in a tent.

Now 6ff, that is going in style.

Hi Q-sters. Thanks for the WW & codes. Ended up in the hospital yesterday with kidney stones-not recommended. Had laser surgery in the evening & now I have to pass the pieces through. Feel like pumpkins! Helps with my beer budget as drinking anything has no appeal athough the Dr encourages it. He is not the one peeing though!

When we were kids, we bought one of those. A little smaller, but like that. The night we brought it home, I asked mom if I could have a friend sleep over. She agreed. I asked if I could have a second friend sleep over. She reluctantly agreed. I asked if I could have a third friend, and she asked where we planned to sleep. "Well, in the camper of course!" She thought we were all nuts. Dad thought we were bordering on genius. "If it leaks, better we know NOW than if we're out camping!"
