The Canadian Tire in my area almost paid me when I bought and price matched 20 boxes of the Snuggle (10 for me and 10 for my monther in law).
The manager OK'ed the price match without any problems. He also accepted the 20 coupons no problem, and gave me 10% back in Canadian Tire money of the lowest price ($20 @ 10% = $2 in CT money)
.
So basically, the 20 boxes cost me $0.60.
Not a bad deal at all

It is their policy to give back 10% in Canadian Tire on the lowest advertised price when you do a price match.

Do you price match at customer service or in-line at the cash registers. Everytime I use a coupon at CTC, the cashiers always look confused at the request.

Not sure if it is the same for all Canadian Tire stores, but at this one there is no problem using coupons at any of the in-line. For price matching, it has to be done at customer service because only they have access to their "PriceMatch" binder.
Seems like they keep track (manually) of all the price matching.Last edited by Ricko; Thu, Jul 29th, 2010 at 05:04 PM.

I just bought some things at CT the other day. It cost me almost $30 and I received 10c in Canadian Tire money. How or why did you receive so much Canadian Tire money for this purchase?

WTG! Never would have thought of it and definitely would never try it as CT always gives me a hard time when using coupons. So I never go there. I usually just PM @ Zellers or Wal-Mart.
