I went to my local safeway today and spent $68 including HST. I got 10% off and used the G60AMs WUS $60 coupon. Sweet deal.
Happy Holidays!

No. In Red Deer we get 15% off on the special days. I think its because there are so many grocery stores here. They tried lowering it to 10% for awhile but quickly put it back up to 15%. Sobey's followed suit right after as well. Calgary and Edmonton are still at 10% so we might be the only ones. Not sure. But its not Alberta wide.
Went in today but they were all out of toiletpaper. Bought the chicken wings though. 2 boxes for 50 AM. We are having company over on New Years Eve so had to buy munchies anyway. Bought a bunch of other groceries for the 15% off though.http://www.swagbucks.com/refer/PinkSapphire. Click to get FREE Giftcards just for searching the web. It is so easy.

OK, was just in Safeway. They won't be switching prices over until tomorrow instead of the usual Saturday. Next week it should revert.
Regardless, this week's price on the Simply Softly TP is $6.99 (reg. $8.49)
Assuming they'll put it back to $8.49 tomorrow the B2G60 offer works out to:
$8.49 - $4.20 = $4.29 effectively
10% Tuesday works out to:
$8.49 - $0.85 - $4.20 = $3.44
Let's hope for a sale price plus AMs! ;-)

Was just at http://www.websaver.ca and noticed they have Eggo $0.50 coupons available.
Some of you might recall that there were some tremendous Eggo offers about 2 years ago where $5 spent got $7 in AMs.
The Eggo offers and coupon offers disappeared for awhile. The reason was there are 3 plants that manufacture Eggos and one of them burned entirely to the ground creating a world wide shortage (if you can imagine that).
Looks like they might be back. Let's hope so. They were a terrific food banker:
$5 spent = $7 AMs + $1.45 tax rebate = $8.45
Or a 69% profit.
The old coupons were $1 so keep your eyes out for a reappearance. They were in booklets in SmartSource holders on the shelves.
