Safeway is offering 25 AM to buy monthly bus pass. Not sure where the offer is valid but I got it yesterday in Alberta. Always good to get few extra AM.

I did not know its edmonton only, good to know. I saw the board at my safeway cust service and thought would share. But 754 AM redemption for a montly pass looks like a good deal to me, did not know about that.

See the 100 bonus Shell car wash AMs have finally been awarded. Appear in my account as Aug. 24 but I know they actually only showed up today or yesterday.

Decided to test run the coffee today.

Got a full 80 AMs (50 + 30) using the bonus coupon so the double dip works.

Note as I read it you can only use 1 bonus coupon per transaction so if you bought 4 coffee you'd get 50 + 50 + 30 = 130 AMs (not 160). However, you can use the 30 bonus coupon over more than one transaction to get 160 if you buy 2 tins at a time.

Also note: some of the Van Houtte tins have peel off $3 coupons good on bags as well.

Hey Bob--the old OB double dip works like a charm--nothing on sale/no coupons on the coffees, but did get 207 AM (including the 80 mentioned above and 75 from Pepsi and the 50 for spending 40$ here)--held my nose while the pepsi was going through the cash register at 4.50$ a six pack, and the coffee at 8.99 for 300g, but did get the 10% discount and 20$ worth of AM, so it's all good. Thanks for your persistence in getting the word out!!

I often say in a friendly manner, "Hey, can you give me some scratch cards?" and I use the person's name and they often give more than one, especially near the end of the promo. Aiming for a cashier who recognizes you can help. Anything to increase the odds.
