That's OK--my freezer is FULL FULL FULL with frozen fruit, and lasagna, and ham--spend 112$, get 520 AM's...no way to spend 200$, I'd run out of room Thanks to your heads up, Bob, knew there was nothing much this week, so I went over and did one more run--not bad--1,000 miles inside of a week--just about as good as the coffee run last year at this time

    No Luck

However did find six $2 Colgate Pro-Relief Toothpaste coupons so we'll see if they work.
I don't think so since Pro-Relief Toothpaste are considered premium toothpaste and they are usually around $5 each. the ones on sales @ RCSS & Safeway are the cheaper regular ones.

Noticed a couple items while avoiding the malls this morning comparing Safeway's and Wally World's flyers.

    Robin Hood Flour: Safeway 5KG $5.99/4.95 WW 2.5 KG $4.27 (Pro-rated to 5KG $8.54)

Kraft Shredded Cheese 340g: Safeway $4.99 (With Super Coupon) WW $5.97

Of course WW will smoke Safeway on other items but even with price matching they can't beat the Robin Hood offer thanks to the Airmiles.

Used $1 off coupons too so got the Feta @ $3.99 each amazing deal!

Oh and the kellogs cereal b5g100 was very very limited on choices. I ended up getting 5 boxes of all bran buds using $1 off coupons.

I went to SW this morning to plan my cerealpoolooza for next week and noticed that these cereals are also covered under the Kellogg's promo:

    -Rice Crispies
    -Corn Pops
    -Fruit Loops
    -Mini wheats
    -frosted flakes

Most of those have a coupon sitting right in front of them....so I think the valuation is:

3.99-.75=3.24/1.14?? more if you use Amex AM card and get the 50 AM wub $50 annnd even better if you do it on Tuesay for 10% off (or this weekend and do 100AM wub $100)

I think I'm going to do 20 boxes on Tuesday...sooo I think this is right (I'd love confirmation!)

    20x3.60 (10% off Tues)=72.00-15(20x.75)=57.00 but I'll get 450 AMs (400 for the cereal + 50 from AMEX)= 57.00/47.40

which is an awesome good deal!

And all are the family size boxes!! and some have the Hasbro coupons on them...

Also, is there a max of 500 AMs per day?

    Thanks!

Yes there is a limit of 500 per day per safeway card... not per airmiles card. If you have the SUTP coupon for $5 off wub $50 you can reduce that spend down to $52. That will mean you will get back enough to bring your cereal down to under $5 for 20 boxes. Any time you can get cereal for under .25 a box you have a rockstar deal. Some do a second transaction with a second safeway card at a different store ... but how much cereal do you need? LOL... BTW If you did this with the all bran it would work out to free. (the all bran has $1 coupons.)

SUTP is student union ticket pack... it is a big thick book of coupons that the schools sell for $20 and the schools get $10 of it... we get the nice coupons inside. They are local coupons per city.

    Maximum 500AMs or 10Xs per offer/day/card

    On the cereal it's B5G100

    5Xs = 25 = 5 x 100 = 500 AMs

    10xs = 50 boxes still only = 500AMs (not 10 x 100 = 1000)

However, you can buy other offers and get over 500 for the total shop, for example, not counting coupons

    5Xs (25) cereal = 5 x 100 = $100 + 25 Smuckers = 250 Ams = 750AMs + a gum or something =

    $99.75 + $100 + $1.25 = $201 = 750 AMs + B$200G300 bonus = $1050 AMs

Using coupons you could boost the jam or add the toothpaste, etc. and really make a killing!

So, I did a big shop today, didn't go as high as $200 though. Was going to partake in the cerealpalooza but slim pickins at my store. I decided I'll try back on Tues and see if the selection is any better. My sub total was 297.17 , club card savings of 191.31 less coupons -105.86 for a total savings of 70% after tax total was 143.09 and I collected 461 AMs, I'm pretty happy with this as I got meat and some produce along with my 20 Clear products and 18 Colgate Pro. No shelf clearing (or anything close, was involved).

    I'm workin' on it!

Actually taken to an extreme I have $1 coupons on the cereal and Smuckers. Using the coupons:

    25 cereal= $74.75 = 500 AMs

    45 Jam = $135 = 450 AMs

    Total $209.75

    Bonus: 300 AMs

    1AM/$20 credit card: 10 AMs

    Total: 500 + 450 + 300 + 10 = 1,260 AMs (Cash Value: $132.30 or 63% of cost!)

If they don't have any... get rain checks... they have the best rain check policy... it is good for a couple months and that includes the airmiles... make sure you ask them to put on the airmiles tho! (you can hit it next 10% tuesday with any other rain checks you can accumulate...I do this as a regular practice... especially if i don't have the wiggle room in my budget... i get the rain checks and hold that sale over until things are more comfortable.
