Does anyone know if you have to provide your passport details when booking a international flight with airmiles? Mine expires this year and I wanted o know if i need to renew it before I try booking a flight with them?

When I booked a flight to the US last May they asked for my name as it appeared on my passport but not the passport number. I did book it over the phone with AirMiles. My passport was in my safety deposit box so I know with certainty that I didn't provide more.

Ok.... apparently safeway is being a participating member in price fixing... a illegal action in canada. Big companies have decided to strike back against low prices and are making retailers agree not to sell products below a certain price... hence price fixing.
I am in the process of making a youtube vid on this now showing people where to voice how they feel about this. You should feel outraged by this... companies involved are Coke, con agra, smuckers and who knows how many others. This will effect prices of no name products too because some of these companies produce no name products as well.

They're not price fixing. They're setting a minimum advertised price.. not allowing stores to advertise products as loss leaders, etc. This appears to be permitted in Canada. There's nothing from stopping a store from having a lower in store price, or offering perks like Air Miles, etc.
