Yesterday, I purchased 10 of the Dentyne/Cadbury deal. My total was $7.90, yet I was charged tax on the pre-sale price of $10.90. This isn't correct right?

Hmm.. that seems to be the case here as well. GST is charged on the $1.09 price.

I bought some last night and they have not fixed the system yet.

I bought more tonight & they fix the problem.
I received the standard(1 AM/$20) AM tonight from this offer for the purchases made up to last Sat. But not the bonus AM.

So Safeway has confirmed (on Facebook) that they have been over charging on the tax for the Candy Carnival $0.79 deal from Friday until around noon on Wednesday. You can bring your receipt to the store for a refund. I asked them how they will refund people who have no idea they were over charged ... no response.

That is all you need. I had asked the CSR to refund the tax right away before the error was fixed before Wed.
