TX, Yup, saw the SDM offer. Thing is might have to cash it in soon as they announced the cancellation of the program. The deadline passed but they have extended it at the moment. Speculation is they will replace it with the PC Plus program.

That's weird. I did 2 searches (YVR to LAS and YVR to YEG) and neither showed any WJ reward flights. I even double checked YVR lfies to LAS everyday.

Try Abbotsford instead, you might find some west jet flights.

For the miles you have, you could book 2 all inclusive weeks to Mexico.
For me that is the best way to spend my AM.

Not Safeway but at SDM get 8000 optimum pts wub 200.00 in gift cards.

And noting the different valuations between SDM's GC offer and what you'd get at Safeway for the same $200. Safeway's GC offers are B$50G60AMs so $200 would get 4 x 60AMs = 240AMs which has a cash value of $25.20 while 8,000SDM points = $10.

The battle continues in my neck of the world...scored on the spend 75$ get 25$ credit mentioned in the article, haven't tried the latest one.

A 20% kickback--better value than Air Miles--although I guess I could make the grocery purchase at Safeways and double dip.

The war does not seem to be ending anytime soon. Too bad there isn't an Air Miles VISA, yet (although Canadian banks no longer have to practice credit card exclusivity [that is, they can issue both VISA and MasterCards, instead of only one]).

The winter's too long and cold, the summer's too short, but the excitement of this war almost makes up for it .
