Yes, Cinderella was fabulous.

Top tickets were $140. Our seats were excellent so lets say $80-$100??? plus coat check and a glass of wine all for 1 Airmile each. Sometimes I have to say nice things about AirMiles. This is one of those times.

You can double or triple dip.

1) Go to Shell and buy safeway gift card and get 7x air miles. There is an amex promo on right now that some with amex card may be able to qualify for. We have 10 amex cards and only 2 qualified. Spend $50 and get $10 credit back.

I bought 2 x $50 safeway GC from shell and got back (2 x 35 am) + (2 x $10 credit)

2) Use the $100 safeway GC at safeway and get 100 am back. Try to buy stuff on sale or at good price.

Thus for $100 spend at safeway, you get back (2 x 35 am) + (2 x $10 credit) + 100 am = $20 and 170 am.

We have 10 amex cards (2 more should arrive any day now) because we save at least $3k to $4k in travel expenses a year. Should be at least $5k or $6k this year. Only been signing up for amex cards in past 3-4 yrs.
