PS: I should do well this week as we're remodeling.

Need a new range hood and garberator. The contractor swore by Home Depot's warrantee.

For those of you maximizing for charity don't forget there are $5 off on $50 purchases coupons in the Entertainment book. (Check dates though).

If you bought exactly $50 worth of goods including Eggos with $1 off coupons then 5 Eggos = $4.50 and you'll get $8.40 in AMs.

If you donate for the tax receipt then your actual cost will be around $2.50

Was at another similar website to this one and posted.

Someone there asked about the thread here in a PM so I emailed the link to them.

When they replied I noticed the other site had censored the link with a filter for this website.

So I experimented and did the reverse in a PM here. Turns out this site censors the other as well.

Disappointing in that the owners of both these sites who profit off of people's freely given posting and profess to try and help people find the best deals are treating posters as property and making it hard to find information.

Definitely runs counter to the spirit of this thread and the terrific people I've met through it that help one another.

Sad when you think about it.

    Hi Bob...

    Just want to say thanks!

Last week I managed to get 380 airmiles with $145 worth of groceries! It was agreat week!

I am trying to save enough to get to Quebec at the end of the summer.

Saskatoon has an extra special Air Miles deal. Nice in the sense that you don't have to make three trips if you're stocking up. Not sure I'd want $300 worth of toilet paper though - where would you store it?

Haha - we stock up too! My husband has started taking pictures of my "pantry" in the basement. Obviously we don't want so much that it will go to waste, but our goal is to never buy things at full price. We've been racking up the AMs too - thanks again for all your help Bob! I've started to refer to "Safeway math". And on another happy note, we cashed in our Power Pump rewards today...52.5 cents off per litre!! Wahooo!! Those AMs for Future Shop GCs came in super handy!

    Haha... well...
I still have about 40 or so boxes of granola bars still in the cupboard from November... I try to give them away but people never seem to want to take more than 1 grocery bag full...
The gushers I bought in January/February disapered pretty fast though...
The 1 L coke/diet cokes go down pretty fast as I and my wife drink alot of pop both at work and at home...
I always redeem my airmiles for gas... yes Operabob I know its one of the lowest redemptive value haha... but since I have a $200-$300 gas bill per month I figure If I can get 100 Liters of pop (something I would buy anyways) for $100 bucks and end up getting $100 in free Gas then I am more than happy to make room in the pantry for the item, or my basement floor, or give it away...

Lastly there are only 3 of us in my family... and the little one is only a month old... I am just waiting 5 or 6 more years so i can send some of my leftover granola bars to school with her.

    snipe:

Bought 5 Eggos yesterday (will buy 5 five more on Saturday after I eat some and there's more room in the fridge).

    $5 (after coupons) = $5.72 in gas

That's a super deal and one still has the Eggos (well some of 'em)!
