BTW..Simply Filling means exactly that. You don't track. But you do eat slowly, put your fork down and chew between bites helps. Then the moment you start to feel full, you stop. Don't continue, even if the food looks too good to stop. You have to learn what your hungry feeling really does feel like and what it feels like to be full (and not stuffed, which is what most of us do/did).
For me, it was a eye opener and a hard lesson to learn that I really didn't know what being hungry felt like. Now when I feel those pangs, I think about it before I reach for food. Am I bored or am I really hungry? I'll try an activity or hobby before I reach for food. Then I try drinking water. If I STILL feel the pangs, then I will eat. It's been a learning streak for me, but one I'm becoming more conscientious of.

I know!!! I was shocked. I figured her telling me what it was I was good to go. I slwoly ( VERY SLOWLY) caught on that something doesnt sound right... And then I read the lil booklet thats in the calculator box and im telling you I was completly mortified!!! I have been doing good all week long and havent cheated and even exercised and liked it!!!I must say I am feeling 100% better with not eating all that garbage food anymore. I have more energy and dont feel weighed down by the food, even thought I am 100 pounds over weight by what the stats say for my height 5'2. LOL

I joined WW online and I'm on my 3rd week!
My first week I lost 2.2lbs, and I haven't weighed myself yet today.
I'm glad to have found this thread for some similar names to share my experiences with

Going back to what worked for me worked! -4.9 this week. I feel better, b/c December seemed to go so wrong. I am .2 away from hitting my 25lbs milestone. Maybe next week?? I did get a charm for 16 meetings attended though, that was cool. MOTIVATION!!!

-1.3lbs, not bad since I ate a load of sodium (nom nom salt & vinegar chips) and was munchy all week

And OMG at the sodium..my bane! I *make* myself NOT eat anything heavily salted two days before weigh in. The time to eat it is immediately after weigh in. LOL

What brand of kettle chips is that? I'm not a huge fan of chips, but kettle ones I do go for. And I try not to have onion dip made when I do have them, because chips are awful without dip.
