ok I just have to complain here. sorry-I was carrying a bucket of rain water to the greenhouse and the handle broke and it fell on my foot! oouuuchh! it fell on my foot first and then spilled and it fell in such a way the edge of the bucket hit my foot. I had to refill the bucket so I could water the thirsty plants and limp inside.
oh it froze last night here also. but we covered stuff. Oh on the plus side of frost-as it melts it makes these beautiful water droplets that made the flowers look so pretty when the sun was out! I took pictures this morning! we of course didn't cover the perennials which are the flowers I am talking about. it got quite nice today-like 18 I think! muuucccchh better than the 10 we had yesterday and the day before!!!

It's been over 30 for the last 3 days. One more day of over 30, 1 of 29 and then down to 18-20 range. Not a bad week to take vacation.

not a bad week to take a vacation for you or me? I thought I should head east because you guys are hogging all the heat! LOL j/k It has been cold and wet here for most of summer! Oh we finally hit 30 last Thursday for the first time this summer and the second time this whole entire year!!! The other time was May 18. The rest of the summer has been around 20. and rain and more rain. starting to wonder what winter is going to be like and if it is going to be cold. We have been getting alot of -40's in winter lately. oh and the snow! We still had snow falling in May this year! I still find it odd how we had snow and our only other +30 in the same month! lol it was a weird month-I do remember that! Maybe I should move? lol somewhere warmer or do you think the cold and snow will follow me? lol
