I still use our VCR!! Only prob. is that I can't tape all channels - just Canadian regular channels, US regular channels, and PBS. So other channels that run cool shows, I can't tape - I have to watch them! Mind you we only have the first tier of cable, so I don't get the food network, tlc, etc.

that's what a have too but i see alot of new shows on HGTV yes i love that channel it drives my hubby crazy that i would want to tape some shows will be on at the boys bedtime and i want to watch them lol

I'm a stoopid here.... is that the same as a PVR? TIVO? (I know that's U.S, but...).

I have a machine thingee here that I really don't know how to work (don't hate me because I'm beautiful!). The only thing I have done on it is transfer something on VHS to a DVD. I think I'm supposed to use it to record TV shows, but I know it's not a TIVO-like thingee.
Oh, gosh, I'm so tech-deficient, it's sad....

All I saw of it was a clip that trucks posted quite a while back - which I think pretty much gave the general story - and I cried at that! I watched it several times!
