Ok, we have a really old cat named Ashley, she's 21 and skinny, we are cat watching a 12 year old cat who is about 25 pounds, that's Nosy. And we have a gorgeous but not the brightest mixed breed dog (husky, lab retreiver) named Popcorn who weighs in around 130. WE use to have guinea pigs, fish and hermit tree crabs, oh and the odd mouse which we really didn't want.

These are my 2 beasts...Decker on my left and Mack on my right. Decker passed last summer, so now I just have my Mack. And a toddler (who is in my tummy in this picture)

A more recent picture of Mack...its a bit fuzzy, my phone camera sucks, but this is his "throne"....he really does think he's king of my house

Hehe ClayLex...Decker was about 190ish when he passed, but he had been sick for a while. his normal weight was around 235-ish (winter time weight. His legs were bad so he couldnt get around much in the snow and ice)and he was about 220 in the summer time, when it was a bit easier for him to run around a bit. Mack is about 185-ish. He is starting to get a bit fat..we moved from a very large yard to a very, very small yard and he doesn't run around much anymore. Couple that with the constant supply of toddler food that comes his way and hes getting a bit portly.

I havent carried my dogs for a loooong time...haha. Mack likes to sit on my lap while we watch tv, and he sleeps in my bed with me at night (once my furnace broke and it was end of Oct. and I just slept between both dogs and I was warm as could be...haha)

Wowza! Those are some kind of beasts for sure. Sorry for your loss of Decker.
Here is my new ( well a month old now ) ginormous bird cage for all my finches, at the time that pic was taken I had not quite transferred them all over, was trying to see how they adapted first before adding.

My Daisy girl. She passed away last February & I still miss her every day. She was my best friend, she was there for me through a lot of crappy times.

This is Hoover Dog (lab/husky x):
This is Lucky (husky/golden retriever x):
This is Pixel, the cat with no tail:
Hoover we got from Freecycle of all places. The people who had him thought a puppy would be a great idea but then he got bigger and with 4 kids, they kept him crated for up to 10 hours a day. So we adopted him, gave him a MUCH better life, and he's been a great dog ever since. (He's 6.)
Lucky I got from the SPCA. I had originally gone in to look at smaller dogs but Lucky was behind the counter and he kept jumping up and putting his front paws on the counter, then falling, then he'd do it again and it was so funny with his tongue out and his ears all crooked that I took him for a walk and he walked great so I decided to bring him home. Hoover's more my husband's dog, but Lucky's my baby. Lucky did have massive separation anxiety issues but that was solved about a month after we got him when he realized that we'd always come back and that Hoover Dog was home with him.
This is what he did about a week after we got him:
We'd gone to Wal*Mart and when we got back, Lucky was sitting in the front yard. When we came in, we saw the window.
But like I said, he's okay now.
(He's 4.)
Pixel doesn't have a tail because something ate it off. We think it was either a fox or a raccoon. My friend found these kittens living with their mom under his back concrete stairs and they were getting in and out through a large crack. The theory is that the kittens would be out and whatever it was would chase them back into the stairs but only nip the ends of their tails. All of the kittens but one had bloody stumps of varying lengths where their tails should have been. Only the mom and one of the females had tails intact. The poor things were full of worms, like you could *see them* crawling from the kittens' urethrae to their anuses
it was pretty gross.
We kept two of the kittens, Pixel and her brother Digit, and took the other 4 kittens and the mom to the SPCA. When all was said and done, we ended up paying almost $600 to get the kittens well, their shots and spay/neuter. They needed deworming and antibiotics, blood work...the poor little things were a mess.
About a year after we took the kittens in, Digit got hit on the road. Pixel never leaves the yard and sometimes I wonder if she didn't see Digit get hit and that freaked her out. Maybe that's expecting too much from a cat but I still wonder.
Anyway, those are the babies I didn't give birth to.
