Tomorrow marks my 1 year Cancerversary! That's right, 1 year cancer free! I truly can't beleive it's been a year since my surgery and I can't beleive that I've been so lucky and blessed throughout this whole ordeal. But as many of you know I was told this first year was quite important in terms of regrowth and thankfully all MRI's have appeared clean!
There is one very important thing that I've learned in the last 12 months:
Live. Laugh. Love. Everyday. Life is precious and should be treated that way. No one is guaranteed tomorrow.This thread is currently associated with: Mark's

Oh my gosh, I am soooo very happy for you. The big C is not a nice thing to deal with and when you get a clean report, nothing feels better. congrats, and I hope you have many many more.

Natalka - I can't WAIT for the 5 year all clear!! I have to say I chuckled at your siggy (the skulls) considering the surgery I had and I swear to you I can NOT walk past a halloween section with skulls without cringing now LOL
lotus - Thank you, I've always lived by the notion that someone always has it worse than you and even when facing a disease such as cancer it still holds true. It could be worse, and thankfully it isn't.
hollyquaiscer - Thank you. Cancer is a terrible word and sadly most here have been touched by it in one way or another. Here's hoping for a day when no one has to be affected by this disease!!! btw, that puppy/kitty is soo cute! lol
