yes, there use to be a commercial where you could buy these bags, put your clothes or whatever in it & then use the vacuum cleaner to suck all the air out of it. it shrunk the size down to something very small & if you released the plug it all when back to normal size.

Another way to seal things is with a straw....
Of course it depends on the size of bag.... too!

Isn't or wasn't there some plastic bag infomercial to store
clothes in using your vacuum to remove the air so it can be
sealed compacted?
