Well, I slept from 7-8 and again from 10-11, so I should be good for the day now.
MercyEhm, I've had insomnia since high school, and it's just changed over the years - I never used to be able to GET to sleep, and then that changed in my late 30s so I could fall asleep, but not stay asleep.
Funny how I used to be able to get through the day just fine with three or four hours' sleep, and as of a few years ago, I was able to nap (never ever did that before, even when my son was a baby/young) for an hour in the afternoon.
Never investigated any meds, just figure I y'am who I y'am! I know for sure it's not seasonal affective disorder.
I'll have to just keep really, really busy this afternoon!

BTW, our SPCA won't adopt out black cats in October - wonder if any other shelters do this?

Oh I didn't mean to infer SAD. This is completely different. It really is just the Melatonin that isn't regulated properly.

I've been the same way since about Gr9. because it's a natural supplement it may be worth a looksie

Feels like Friday. Governong board meeting tonight, will be interesting, must pick up Larry at 7:10 and be at GB meeting for 7:30, never gonna happen. LOL

I'm not really an insomniac, but I am a really light sleeper. The funny thing is I can tune out sirens & traffic, but loud voices outside will wake me. Then I can't get back to sleep.

I see the early stages of sunlight. Here's hoping the rain holds off.
