The area code is from Israel - it's from a VoB unit - what we know as VOIP.

well let me tell ya.. 1pm there or not.. double check your dialing pal. 6AM is to friggin early to hear a telephone ringing when you have elderly parents. ya just never know. guess next time we should answer it let them know.

Its bad people, I got several calls from weird *'s and unless you know them, assume its telemarketers.

We dont have called ID here... and I got a call 2 days ago at 4:55am... thought it was DH calling from work.... so I answered... and it was an automated message saying something was trying to send a text to the landline.... I listened to the message and all it was was "yell" and then tried to repeat the message but it said the phone number, and I just hung up... how strange....

Hmmm..I've had family and freinds call me at UTC 9am which is EST 4am. Yup, lovely to hear from you..i'll call you next time EST 11pm UTC 4 am..

so it seems these ppl needed a hint.. they called on Monday again in the morning as we were getting hubby ready for work.. around 10X within 5 minutes.. hubby picked it up the 2nd time and all he heard was a foreign voice saying "hello" repeatedly.. that was it.. even when he said hello there was no response.. so he hung up.. then it continued. I finally picked it up.. and YELLED 'STOP CALLING OR IM GOING TO CALL THE POLICE' hubby just about peed himself laughing.. we waited he said there sitting on the other end going 'im not calling again, she's going to call the police'.. they called once more about 5 minutes later.. so I did it again.. we waited again.. nothing since.. hmm do you think they got the message.

If I ever get a call from a telemarketer I handle it much like I did today with bell call me!

Me - oh that is excellent, now are you aware you are calling my TELUS cell phone, a company of which I have been with as long as I can remember? In fact my very first cell phone was the brick and that was with clearnet incase you didn't know changed to telus

Bell - it would be very much long distance if you call me

I do this all the time to my mom - she's in NS and I'm in BC = I'll call her after dinner here and she's alreayd in bed - She's never impressed

it's a reverse lookup forum where people can compare notes and discuss the phone calls that they're getting, whether the number is legit or, more likely, a telemarketer.. most times when the phone rings now, i just pop on the computer, plug the number in and have an answer before the phone stops ringing

i did try that number in reverse lookup but it wasn't listed... yet
