Today was not a good day... I caved and eat at Mc Donalds. My little guy never asks for anything and today he asked if we could go to McDonalds. But the good news is that I did share my meal so I didnt eat as much as I normally would.

I got my lunch at subway today (roast turkey piled high with vegetables and bowl of soup). But I caved and got cheese and real mayo on my sandwich - not a real fan of the lite mayo (taste is off for me). Got a cookie, but I will save it for Sammy (my little cookie monster). Even if I lost 0.00001 of a pound I would be happy!

I was just thinking about Subway today and how I hadn't had it in a while. The mayo (on a ham sub) and chocolate chunk cookies are my favorite thing there, so I will continue to avoid, haha.
I don't know if it's true or not, but I have had several Subway employees tell me (or others in line) that there is no regular mayo, it's all lite mayo even if it's in a bottle without lite written on it.

I dont know about the subway lite mayo, but I know the lite miracle whip is heinous (bought it once when it was on special - no one at home liked it and we ended up tossing it after a while). It was a good deal at the subway today - got soup, the deli sandwich, a cookie and beverage for 6.20 (tax in).

How's everyone been doing this week? I decided to try brown rice last night instead of white, and I gotta say I really enjoyed it. Now I've converted to whole wheat bread/buns, pasta and brown rice. I've also started to try eating more vegetables, seeing which ones I can tolerate haha.
I'm down 2.9lbs since last week.

Way to go!!! Although I am sure I will see my scale creeping up next week thanks to all the Halloween goodies I have at home. I wish I had the will power to stay away from all the chippers, the chocolate and candy thats at my home, and all the other stuff my kids are gonna bring home. I'm such a big kid when it comes to all that stuff.

I've been trying to have more salads and greens. I bought some dessert tea so when I feel like snacking, I make a cuppa instead. I haven't had any soda for over a week now but I did have chocolate over the weekend...I think it was calling my name
