Thing is, it's not a "trading points feature," it is a transferring points feature. It being treated as a trading system is what SDM takes issue with, I presume based on their statements.

Holy freaking crap. There is no need to resort to name calling... are we all 5 years old? No. Everyone obviously has an opinion about this but there's a way to go about it without calling people nasty names. I've never been disgusted with SC but right now...

This is supposed to be a community... so where's the support? I still stand behind all of you who had your points stolen, no matter how that came to be. It's theft, plain and simple!!

I hope not either. My DH acquires very few points, just on the occasional prescription, maybe buying a couple of things. Same thing with Mom and MIL.

The third one being the breach of lax security on SDM's website putting ALL Optimum members at risk of everything from I.D. theft (which btw has already happened) to far worse possible outcomes.

Personally I feel outraged at the manner in which SDM is handling their 'best' customers as they are not negotiating in good faith - however that IS a personal feeling.

I'm not sure we have "identity theft" here. The accounts were drained, transferred etc. No-one has assumed the identity of our victims.
