A while back I was buying some clerarance items at Reitmans worth about $10 and the lady ahead of me had $90 worth, at that time, if you spent $100 you got $25 GC, so I gave her the cash (and my items) and she got the GC. That would be my nicest ROAK. Also all the time if I see people waiting in line with items I have coupies for and I won't use them, I give it to them.

After having a number of coupons to be rung in today at WM (21), the gal behind me was very patient, so before I left, I handed her the $3.00 off jumbo pampers. She was like Oh wow thank you, and the cashier a bit sarcastic said, Oh guess she has a coupon for everything.

I was by a clearance cart at WM today and met a sweet lady who did the coupon thing too. I gave her a bunch of coupons, she gave me some. Helped her PM the cereal on sale at Zellers. I told her about SC and all the fun we have. But the best part about the experience was I made a new friend!!!!

I saw an elderly lady the other day with some bounty in her basket so I got out a coupon for it, tapped her on the shoulder and handed her the coupon. She said "oh I thought I had done something wrong". I replied" nope it is just you lucky day" She was so pleased.

Last week I was at Walmart and a lady was looking at the bounty. I told her if she was interested in gettng the 6 pack Soebys, which was a cross the street, had them on sale for 3.99, than gave her a coupon too. She said thanks for telling me!
Another lady was looking at the Delissio pizza and my mom and I had an extra coupon so gave it to her. She was amazed and pretty excited.
Now on another good story tail, just after my daughter was born my mom was at Chapters looking at books. She asked a lady with a small boy what children books they would recommend for a new grandma. She quickly named a few and she asked my very proud mom about her first grandchild before departing. The lady and small boy came back about 5 mins later for a gift for my daughter. She told my mom that she recently lost her mom and had a copy of the book her mother liked to read to her son. She told my mom she reminder her of her mom and wanted her to have the book to read to her grand daughter. My mom was so touch she said "may I give you a hug? A hug from your mom and me."
That story still makes me cry.

I know it's a bit early to be posting something like this but here I go.
I'd like our fellow SCers to consider riffling through their closets for used dresses that could be worn to a prom. I know we all have a dress or two that we won't ever wear again (maybe that bridesmaid's dress we've forgotten about). I know there are local charities that collect these dresses and has a boutique night for students that can't afford to have that prom experience that we should all have. Have a dress drop off party or donate just one dress. Anything helps.
All little girls grow up waiting for that prom night with our friends and it breaks my heart to know that some people just can't afford it.

I'm pledging to collect 27 dresses (inspired by the movie).
Thanks for reading this
