Thread: Regarding the Recent Shoppers Drug Mart Optimum Points Events - Please Read

    I am super happy I got all my points returned plus extra points for my troubles

    Here is what they told me and could confirm :

    my points were taken .....

    they can't tell me who took them....

    they can confirm there were some computer glitches...

    they do look at sites like SC
    They are aware of ppl trading points...

    What really made me ** is the person I was talking to is a member here on SC ....so she is aware about trading ect....

    In the end under their privacy act they can't reveal WHO or HOW my points were taken......so for me this situation has been resolved and all is good

    Are they going to try and catch the person that took them?

    It'd be nice to know WHO took them, though didn't they say your points were redeemed in Winnipeg?

    Congrats on getting your points back Jezz! hopefully more people will get their points returned as they have finally admitted to glitches in the system For those who have been denied: dont give up!

    Maybe, but from the 'you gave your card # out so its your own fault' argument they gave others, this would still be the case even if you were in store, and you could have arranged someone to log into your account or done it from a phone etc so...

    I don't know why it turned out the way it did...I did not give out my number for trades as the points were given by me as a raok to another sc'er ...wow I feel I am being accused of wrong doings...the situations were similar except I was giving not taking and yes I gave the number out but that was from the TAF event here...

    I phoned and was told that they would not honor it as their registers are only programmed to do mega or bonus redemptions for specific dates and it can not be over ridden........honestly I don't care I have a new card and my points back....
