Oh ten days sounds great I had surgery on my foot, but it was because of a broken bone and couldn't walk for two months... Good luck, be strong. I was surprised at how calm I stayed up until my surgery date, I kept reasoning without it my foot wouldn't heal properly so that kept the anxiety down (a bit)....

There will be no bones involved just lots of soft tissue. The one lump is on top of her foot and quite large now and the other one is on the other foot below the ankle but it is only the size of a quarter. So I am hoping she will be up and at it very soon.

I will have to miss a couple of days of school because she needs 24 hour care the first day after surgery, because of her diabetes + the surgery.

But it will feel good to know what they are exactly . and move on.

Oooh hollyhill my heart goes out to you...I've been reading alot of posts and your name has come up many times...you've been through alot...I don't know what to say to make it all right...I've been told God never gives us more than we can handle...will pray for a safe surgery and speedy full recovery for your daughter..

Scared, but trying hard not to show it.

Thinking good thoughts for you and your daughter!

I know I have told this before but my daughter has diabetes and also had a strange lump that she had to have removed. Hers was in her hand! Everything worked out. It was nothing. The surgery went off without a hitch. She was back at school in a few days.
