I'm so glad to hear that the surgery went okay. I had a minor foot surgery at age 10, and I wore a pair of my sister's shoes (two sizes too big) for the next few days until the swelling went down. Maybe your DD can borrow an old pair of your boots for when she's outside to make sure her feet are warm enough. As for inside, depending how self-conscious she would be about it, a pair of sandals (not flip-flops) could be comfortable - those tensor bandages get HOT to wear all day (I remember!) and they would probably be less bulky and less likely to make her trip than a big pair of shoes.
Best wishes to you both!

Gosh I feel so much better. I finally SLEPT!
Oh and glowworm, she has bigger feet than me (and she is taller LOL) so that would work. We may try her brothers... but I think his are too big. Hmm.
We took the bandages off today and the plastic surgeon had drawn an ink heart around her inscision area. It made Emmalene smile (she was dreading taking all the bandages off because she didn't want to see the stitches) LOL. That was the perfect thing for the surgeon to do.
There is still swelling and she is in pain so she is still on pain killers. But she had a bath and feels so much better.
And her blood sugar is finally normal again. YEAH!Looking for: Yogurt (FPCs)

Maybe a big oversized pair of fluffy slippers may help her at home? (as long as she doesn't trip being oversized)

So happy she is doing better, she is such a sweetie. Hate to think of her hurting.
So glad you finally got a good nights rest! You looked awful in class last week. Take it easy girl or you are going to get sick again! So have nice long bath and get to bed early tonight. See you Monday.
